Our services are held in the Hotel Marriott Casa Magna Cancun at 10:00 a.m. every Sunday. The Hotel Marriott Casa Magna is located approximately at Kilometer 15 of Boulevard Kukulcan in the Hotel Zone (Cancun Island). Finding Boulevard Kukulcan is easy: it is the principal street in the Hotel Zone; it goes from downtown to the Hotel Zone and continues all the way to the highway near the airport. In most parts of the Hotel Zone, it is the only road, so you need not worry about getting lost on a parrallel street. FROM DOWNTOWN (GOING SOUTH) The "main drag" of downtown Cancun is Tulum Avenue: this runs north-south. There are two traffic circles on it; one is obviously a fountain while the other is clearly not. At the Fountain Traffic Circle, turn east (the opposite direction from the Office Depot store visible on the southwest corner. This is Av. Coba, the extention of Boulevard Kukulcan. Two blocks later there will be a stop light at Avenida Bonampak and after that, as you pass the gas station you are at the entrance to the Cancun Hotel Zone. At this point Av. Coba changes name to "Blvd. Kukulcan" and you are at "Km. 0". Drive on and you will cross a bridge at Km. 4, and then pass the Pok-Ta-Pok golf course (Km. 7), the Plaza Mayfair-Plaza Caracol shopping complex (Km. 7.5), the Convention Center (Km. 8), Plaza Flamingo (Km. 11), La Isla Shopping Center (Km. 12), and the Plaza Kukulcan shopping center (the long building right after the fire station at Km. 13). |  Hotel Marriott Casa Magna Cancun Blvd. Kulkulcan Km. 15 |
There is a city bus service which runs southward down Tulum Avenue until it reaches Coba/Kukulcan Avenue - the location of the traffic circle with the fountain - and then turns eastward toward the Hotel Zone. The buses are marked "Hotel Zone" and either "Ruta 1" or "Ruta 2".
The travel time from downtown is about 20 minutes by car or 25 minutes on the bus.
FROM THE AIRPORT (GOING NORTH)
If you are entering the Hotel Zone from the airport, then you will go past the Parque Nizuc water park, cross a bridge onto Cancun Island, and continue another 6 kilometers (4 miles) to a stop light. Pass the stop light and continue another 1 kilometer to the Hotel Marriot Casa Magna Cancun (on the right).
Travel time from Cancun's southernmost hotel (Moon Palace) is about 20-25 minutes.
If you are arriving in Cancun by bus, you will be delivered to the ADO bus terminal on the west side of Avenida Tulum and in front of the traffic circle that does not have a fountain. Go to Avenida Tulum (the four lane north-south boulevard) and take a city bus marked either "Ruta 1" or "Ruta 2"; both will also say "Hotel Zone". Follow the instructions above in the section "FROM DOWNTOWN".
| AT THE HOTEL Once you have arrived at the hotel, drive up to it and, park in the lot to the right just before getting to the entrance's circular drive. If the guard house is manned, just say that you are there to attend church services (in Spanish: "la misa"). When you enter the hotel, the Concierge and Bell Captain desks will be in front of you and slightly to the left. Ask at either of these desks where our service is being held. |
